Champlain Regional Planning
for Trans, Two-Spirit, Intersex, and Gender Diverse Health Services
Overview
Trans Health Information Ottawa, Centretown Community Health Centre (CHC) (representing the six Ottawa CHCs), Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ottawa, Family Services Ottawa, Champlain Local Health Integration Network, Royal Ottawa Hospital, Seaway Valley CHC and Youth Services Bureau are working together on a Regional Planning Table to improve access to gender-affirming health and social services across the Ottawa and the surrounding region (also known as the Champlain region) for trans, two-spirited, intersexed, and gender diverse people.
The planning table will also include an equal number of representatives from these communities who will participate on an equal basis with all service provider representatives.
The work of the planning table will be informed by a series of community engagement events and other opportunities for community feedback. This feedback will be incorporated into the work of the planning table and into the any final documents.
This website will be updated regularly with the minutes of meetings, details of community engagement events, opportunities to provide feedback and planning documents produced throughout the process.

This work is being funded by the Champlain Local Health Integration Network and the budget is held by Family Services Ottawa.
